new mirror suggestions

I'm thinking of getting a new mirror, the one I have I think is the default one that came with the 07 X2. I bought it used in Feb 2014.

Here is a picture , you can see how it is attached to the tower with the arm.

I've wanted one with a wider fov, maybe something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

BUT it has a clamp that must go onto the windshield. Having trouble finding a good (not bank breaking) mirror that will use the same attachment arm from the tower if possible.

Anyone have suggestions?

I had the three separate piece mirror then I got this one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C9...9bL&ref=plSrch

Much better, an adapter may be needed to attach to your tower mount.

For the price, +1 on the CIPA 01600 Vision.

You will need the monster tower adapter, or similar product from PTM

https://www.monstertower.com/cipa-mi...no-mirror.html

The only downside of the mirror is that at 70+ rope length, rider appears really far back in the mirror.

If you can get a better mirror that mounts from the tower then that is the direction I would go. I am not a fan of the window mount mirrors. I find they are always in my line of sight. I much preferred the tower mounted mirror on our 2009 X2.

PTM - as noted above, it mounts right on your factory arm.

I have a Cipa 01600 that I'm thinking about selling. We used it a few times, but it really doesn't work for hydrofoiling at 80+ feet line lengths. No mount though.
