raw water pump flow direction

I had to remove both hoses going to the raw water pump so that I could get easier access to lubricate the steering system. I thought I had pictures of the hoses going to the raw water pump but I can not find them...

Does the raw water input line (coming from the strainer via the sea ****) go to the top of the raw water pump?

The pictures of the impeller vanes in the Raw Water Pump Rebuild service advisory would suggest that water comes in from the "sea" to the top and goes out the bottom to the engine.

2010 Indmar MCX 5.7

Thanks much in advance!

Had that wrong. In the bottom and out the top.
