Throttle Pivot Point on the new boats

I was playing around at the helm of the boats at the boat show today and noticed something about the metal bezel that locks the throttle lever in neutral and in which the lever rotates.
Does anyone with a 2016 - 2017 notice that when pulling back up into neutral from forward that the bezel ring deflects and the side panel that the throttle lever is attached to moves as well? I noticed that a slight pressure towards reverse without lifting the unlock ring below the knob causes about a 1/8" to 1/4" deflection of the panel and the bezel.
