LTR Flame Arrestor
Anyone know where I can purchase a new flame arrestor for my LTR engine that looks like this? Also, What is the function of the plastic tube that is glued onto it and attaches to a rubber hose? I could probably clean this up and re-glue the plastic tube but it looks like it has seen better days.

Follow the hose to the engine- it's for the breather on the valve cover that doesn't have the PCV valve. This was attached with epoxy and it doesn't look bad enough to warrant replacement, IMO.
MC may have this part. |

Hi Jim,
I have the same flame arrestor as russlars on my LRT. My plastic hose barb is broken off where the breather connects, so the hose sits loosely in position. From what I can tell, a seal here wouldn't be essential? Since the topic came up I thought I'd ask an expert. Thanks |

There are some cool stainless flame arrestors available. They look great compared to these OEM's IMO.
