Reasonable tower speakers + amp

Any advise on a set a reasonably priced of tower speakers for X2 06' and corresponding amp?
Need mostly for the kids while there are tubing, can't really play loud music on my lake plus I'm not that particular except their look.

Found this on amazon, thoughts? I'mm looking on the web and the options/prices are all over the place.

Anything more economical that you know of?

I have Clarion CMD4 stereo.

Thanks.

You really want something with horn tweeters for towers.

Wetsounds was having a clearance on some pro80s or 60s might wanna check with them.

Audiopipe makes a good marine amp AP1504 to run 2 pods (each would see ~250-300rms). I run my Rev8s off them.

6x9's are a good option, plenty if deals and they sound good.

Hmm, those are really cool. They aren't showing any sale though
http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/PRO60.html. They are asking around $800 for a pair.
Interesting suggestion on the amp.

What do you think about these fiberglass speakers? They look nice and match my boat color scheme and I can get away with just a pair. My only concern that the actual speakers are car speakers and I'm not sure if they moisture resistant enough. I'm thinking to get Rockford Fosgate R400-4D for the amp.

Is it reasonable to expect to end up within $500 for speakers and amp?

Check out Arial wakeboarding products. They have cheap pods that are nice and you can even buy some off the truck JL speakers or just go with the pods like I did. I got a pair of pods for $100 but my speakers were $250/pair. I think they sell those sets of pods with 6.5 JL MX 6.5's for $250 ish. So two of those plus a decent amp. Yeah I think you could get it done. I'd spend a bit more if it was me though. And 2 6.5's isn't going to cut it at 70'
