Alternator 1982 S&S

I have a 1982 S&S My Alternator is dead. I have read a few threads and looked at alternators. I would Like 75 amps. Thats besides the point.So here i go. I have i think 4 wires coming out the back of the alt. And i have see alt's with 1 2 3. What do i Need to do. Do i just bypass all of those wires. and use a 2 wire one. I DONT KNOW just need a little Help. and i know that was a little confusing but hey i am tired.

Mine just went out on my '82 s&s. I've ordered a GM -one wire alternator from my local boat shop. He tells me all I'll need is the positive wire and can cut the rest. He tells me the only difference is that you'll need to rev the motor up before it starts putting out. That's no problem for me.
