Thanks BAWS

bay area water sports, aka baws, is one of the best dealerships i have ever seen. they are very cordial and willing to help however they can. case in point: launched yesterday and engine would turn over but not fire. tried all of the usuals as gear shift not in neutral, kill switch malfunction or not engaged, etc. anyway, called baws this morning and spoke with dave, the new chuck. asked him for a few quick and dirties before i hauled my boat 2.5 hrs to him for repair. turned out to be a lose connection at the fuel pump which dave pointed me towards. anyway, he saved me some major bucks and i do not have to take boat in for service. he is ordering the $10 coupling for me and shipping it to me. only dealership i trust to honestly service my mastercraft is BAWS!!! thanks jim and dave, ya'll are the best.

How much is Jimmy paying y'all? Jimmie's missed my last few 'good customer' payments to me. Looks like I gotta send Big Sammy down there to have a lil talk with him!

Well I don't have much experience with that other than having a poor experience at my local dealer (they don't like ordering parts for Stars and Stripes boats apparently) and having a good one at baws. IMO every dealer should treat all customers well, regardless of how old the boat or where it was purchased. After all, it's possible I might buy a new boat sometime. The only question is, who is going to get the money when I do.
