Check out Duke's in Huntington Beach. Right at the pier.
Sodar will be along and give you some good ideas.

Go to Long Beach and help unload some of the containers at the port!

Rent a bike and travel the board walk at the beach. Bubba Gumps at Santa Monica Pier. Travel though Venice Beach dont stop but fun to people watch!

I really enjoyed the harbor tour at Newport, those are some serious boats!

I've got to work this weekend, our I would offer to take you for a harbor cruise or a ski run.

Things to do...
Dukes is a cool place to have dinner. It is on the beach and next to the pier in Huntington Beach.
Rent a Duffy (electric boat) and cruise Newport, Long Beach or Huntington Harbor. All of the houses are lit up for Christmas and the boat parades should be in full tilt.
Come to Seal Beach and borrow our bikes. It's a cool time to just cruise, stop off and have a beer(or martini) along the way.
You've always got the Disneyland thing, if your are bringing the kiddo.

There is tons to do. It just depends on what you feel like doing!
