94 PS 190 Platform sag
I have a 94 PS190 (new to me last spring). I used the boat pretty heavy all summer and she ran like a top. Only put 30 hours on her but only ski the course so it was hundreds of passes. Now that winter is here I plan to do the "projects" I didn't have time to over the summer. The platform needs refinished. I know about the various threads and ways to approach the finish, but my question is the lack of a middle bracket on a 94 and what shall I do with the minor to above minor sag my platform has? I do not know if this is new or been this way for years? Should there be a mid point smaller bracket? I hate to drill my hull if there is a better way. Will this come out if I lay it on a flat surface with weight on it for months, and if so is there something that will help it be more corrective? Looking for thoughts before I start my refinish.

I am not a tech. guy. I know it cannot be that hard, but just not a priority to me. I better get it figured out because I do have some pretty cool stuff (in my mind) to share. Could even help a little with the Swimsuit Thread.

My 94 had a sag and had a piece break off, so I sent it to Teak World to get fixed and ended up getting a newer refurbed one. Not sure how many times your platform has been sanded down or redone, but I think my sag was caused because the wood was thinner than it should be because of sanding. My new one has no open slats, since that was what he had available, and no sag...

Supports seem too wide to avoid it. My other MC is a 75 Stars and I custom fabricated brackets for my teak platform on it. With a much narrower beam I got away w/ two brackets but they are much closer together. Don't think the sag is caused by sanding.

My 93 had two supports and no sag. You could probably flip it over, reinforce it from the bottom with some teak, and straighten it out. Worth a try.
