90's MC Protour Semi

Had a beer a few nights ago with an old ski buddy. He owns a trucking company and he ran across a trailer that he believes may have been the old Mastercraft protour hauler.

In 94' we were at a pro tour stop in Portland. At the end of the competition (while the skiers were on the podiums) The tour began tearing down and they loaded 2 190's in the back of a very custom Semi Trailer. They pulled the boat up to the back of the trailer with a 4 wheeler and hooked the boat trailer to some sort of winch and pulled the first one in and then the second right behind.

So just out of curiosity has anyone ever seen it or shot some pictures of it? Got any to share?

Maybe there is was more than one because I recall hearing that the owner of Texas MC bought one and re-did it. I heard this several years ago so things could have changed or like I said, there could have been more than one.

Yeah that could be. He said there wasnt any graphics on it so who knows.

You mean this one? I drove it with the trailer between stops here in Ohio once a few years back. Nothing like driving THE MasterCraft semi down the expressway.

Nice! My buddy was actually talking about the trailer, but Yeah I remember that.

a quick internet search pulled up the TSR Rig. It was a pretty cool set up. I know the tour was using random Maristars through the dealers before the X Star in the late 90's. But now I think they must just tow on standard boat trailers since the Xstar is probably 8-10 inches to wide to stuff in a big rig.

They were towing the new black xstar with orange lettering with a matching international cxt at a tournament over the summer. The truck had mastercraft logos in orange as well and an orange shield logo on the door. It was just on the standard boat trailer.

I'm pretty sure this is the same truck. It had the orange shield on the door when I saw it though.
