Stars & Stripes GraveYard
Secret fantasy: Win the lottery, travel the country (like the guys on American Pickers) buying up all the Stars & Stripes i could find and bring them all to one location and start a grave yard of sorts - then start a part - out and refurbishing business.
Maybe I'm not dreaming, anyone seen anything like this? On the American Pickers TV show you see grave yards of VW buses, classic motorcycles and everything in between why not the classic stars & stripes, but just like these people, once i had them i might have a hard time letting them go also!.... maybe a reality TV show of me doing this and then i wouldn't have to win the lottery - it's going to be a long off season!

If it existed... I would love to see pics of it!
Can you imagine visiting it... like a kid in a candy store... Then you walk around the last row and see the perfect '93 S&S with an LT1 just waiting to be restored...  Last edited by jakethebt; 11-13-2012 at 08:12 PM.

Hate to break it to you, but if you bought up all of the Stars and Stripes you wouldn't have any customers to sell the parts to.
That being said I pass a boat junkyard everyday. Mostly 70's I/O's in it. I did see a Stars and Stripes laying upside down once in a overgrown yard near Deep Creek Lake. Didn't have time to stop and check it out.

A few years ago there was a pic on here with a bunch (like 6-8) of SS boats lined up along a barbed wire fence in various states of repair. Have no clue how to even try to find it.

I would happily retire restoring S and S boats for any Team Talker that wanted to pay in beer, ammo and a few bills.
