I mix it with equal amounts water and suck it into the engine and leave it in over the winter. In the spring we dump it. We use enviro friendly type. Is that what you were asking?

Faking the lake works well. That tube was expensive but has paid for itself. For winterizing you have to get it hot so the thermostats open up. In Spring we let new water come into the big bucket from a hose so it doesn't overheat while we warm up the oil before we drain it. We also drain out about a cup or two of oil before we start so we get the really crappy stuff that sat there through winter out of the bottom of the pan before first crank. I've heard folks say the anti-freeze is bad for the aluminum block. It's a 98 and so far it's running like a sewing machine. No problems.
