Theo, much try devil's lake water sports or boaters choice. If they don't know someone, you might be able to post a note for a ski buddy wanted.

I'm in Dundee, MI. We mostly wakeboard so I've never pulled through a slalom course but wouldn't have a problem doing it.

Tried out Sylvan Lake on Friday afternoon. That's a nice spot. Sand bar for when you just want to relax and plenty of room to surf and screw around a little bit later. I will probably make it back over there again this summer

Have wife drive course w/o skier a lot of times. Make sure to do a dry run on what to do if you crash. Does she pull skiers open water?
Considering you live across the street, we need to figure out another time to get back out there. Haven't hit your lake other than to test the boat this year

I'm not sure. Somewhere centrally located I guess? One of my buddies (a MasterCraft owner) owns a great bar/restaurant, waterfront, with lots of docks. It's called Jerry's pub, on wamplers lake in the irish hills. There's also a state park there with a few great ramps and lots of trailered parking.

I'll drive anywhere for that though, so ideas are welcome.
