As I heard from someone else, transom tie downs keep the trailer under the boat, not the boat on the trailer. Given the picture we see and the position of the tow vehicle, I think all that would have resulted is that the picture would show the trailer on top of the boat when it ended up upside down on the road. All kidding aside, good the hear that no one was seriously injured. |

I saw this picture the morning I had to tow the boat up to the dealer for winterization/warrantee work. You bet your a$$ I tied down the boat to the trailer.
