Where do you guys with 83-85 19 Skiers mount your audio equipment
The boat I have is virgin in that department. Has no audio equipment and does not look like it ever did. Honestly I'm not sure I want to start cutting any holes in this beautiful boat, so I might not ever do it. However, I would like to have some ideas of how it might look good.

Could you use speaker boxes in the corners on the floor and a bracket to mount the head unit under the dash? At that point you'd only be looking at small screw holes, and those could be hidden out of the way.

Brother cut a hole if Dad's 85 and put it in the passenger swat base next to the battery with 6x9's in boxes. Pulled it out the day I bought it. Left the cover to hide the hole. Wish it hadn't been put there ever.
I have seen speakers mounted in wood beside the driver's and observers' seats covered in carpet that didn't look too bad and supported the gunwale where a boom will otherwise cause it to flex. That guy had the radio hidden which I liked, but to change the disc you had to flip up the back of the observers' seat. Pita.

Thanks one day. Is that blue and grey or blue and white btw? I've seen a lot of blue and grey but I've not seen another blue and white like mine. Anyways this is what the interior looks like. It was redone by the po. Very clean looking but we'll have to see how easy it is to keep clean!

I mounted my stereo to the bottom of the plastic glove box under the observer's seat. I drilled 4 holes through the glove box to mount a wood box for the stereo. I then cut four holes in the gunnel upholstery and installed four speakers. I have a wired remote that I ran through the cup holder and mounted to the right of the dash. Looks nice and clean IMO. I'll post pics if I get to the boat this weekend....
