congrats on the 2013. How would they swap out the screens if they no longer use them in the boats?

They are still going to support the Medallion screens, I have heard they have swapped a number of them out for people when the situation warrants it.

I've spoken at length with my dealer and emailed with MC. I'd encourage others to speak with their dealer, that seems to be the most efficient way of resolving these issues. Wish I would have spent my efforts in that direction instead of elsewhere.

I dropped in to see the dealer near me. He actually gave me a lot of comfort that Mastercraft are responding to the concerns on the 2012's. Apparently a new software patch was issued a few weeks ago. Given the season here (its snowing today), the local dealer told mastercraft to send the patch next spring in case there are further changes to it, because noone here will need it until then. For some reason, they need to install this in the water as some of the setup is with the boat at 4000RPM.

Hopefully this addresses the issues but we won't know for sure until next boating season. For those of you in warmer waters, please keep the rest of us updated.

Pitch calibration in the GDIG needs to be done driving at 4000+ RPM for about 30secs in a straight line.

Being that these systems are the Heart of these boats and it doesn't seem that they will be retro fitting the Murphy screens.....I think Mastercraft should extend our Warranties to the original Owners for at least 5 years.

Software Update

So has anyone been able to fully test this new software update. My dealer has everything they need to do it but they are going to wait till spring (location: michigan = cold) to do it.

I'm curious if we are back in business or what...
