1980 S&S PS for sale/trade

Purchased this (my first MC) this spring, love driving and wakeboarding behind it, but its not big enough for family. Want to upgrade to a TriStar 220 with wrap around passenger seating.

1980 Mastercraft Stars & Stripes, first year the Powerslot was offered (has 1.52:1 ratio velvet drive trans with 14x19 prop vs the standard 1:1 ratio). Engine is a PCM 351 Ford Windsor engine, has been running synthetic oil for many years, has approx. 1200 hours. New Edelbrock 750 marine carb on wedge plate, new battery & exhaust hoses this year. Goes fast, pulls strong & sounds great! Interior & gel coat need some TLC so I priced less than the others on CL.

I'm looking for a larger ski, wakeboard boat, willing to trade for another MC or inboard ski boat that's 20' w/ bowrider.
Boat is in the water and can be seen in evenings. Comes with original MC trailer, cover, and Skylon wakeboard pole.
I raced 4 newer Mastercraft boats a few weeks ago and kept up with the newest and most expensive boat! My friend calls this boat a Corvette on water, lots of fun!

$4000, OBO, will winterize next week, repost in spring for $4500

It needs TLC on the gelcoat and other spots too. Most 32 year old boast do.
I already reduced the price to $3,500 for the condition and end of season. Compared with others at $6000 that look flawless. I assume the power slot adds to this boat versus others. I've seen SS for less, but not running.

I'm not saying this is the best stars and stripes on the Internet but I think it's priced right, or I'll do better in the spring.

I'm happy to show it, but need to take it out of the lake soon. I need to learn how to shrink my photos on iPhone so I can post.

Sold this boat today, buyer plans to restore. Not his first MC, but first Powerslot. I could tell he was impressed with the hole shot performance. I'm going to miss this boat! Wonder if I can swap trans in my TriStar and make it a Powerslot too, it's got a 14x14 prop, would just modify to a 14x19 and the 1.5:1 trans...... Sounds like a new thread
