You are young and found the problem early. Dont push the recovery time so your body can heal.

Pacemakers are very common today.......you will be back in action after recovery.

It makes me fill lucky even with 3 broke ribs.

My season ended on July 17ish. I feared cracked or broken ribs. 5 weeks later with little improvement, the Doctor confirmed 3 broken ribs. It's now been 3 more weeks, a total of 8 and one rib still feels less than 50% with a constant reminder.

Best wishes on your recovery!

The power of prayer is awesome, IMHO, and it is so nice and warm to see TT'ers jump in and provide heartfelt prayers.
God bless you and everyone around you involved in this repair!

Thanks for sharing Kyle. I know life will be close to normal again. Just very frustrating as i have always tried to take care of myself physically, mentally, and spriritually....although not always. My mother had a pacemaker at 50, my brother at 40, and now me at 37....safe to say it's genetic, just worries me about my kids now.

Going to have the pacer embedded in my pec muscle...pretty painful but better protection for an active person and you can only see the scar.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Kyle....there will be no selling of the boat...

I've seen this thread just assuming it probably was about winterizing a boat or a final ski for the summer.......wow, guess I was wrong! You'll be back up and running in no time......Prayers to you for a quick recovery!
