Syn 6 to power 2x Pro80s 1x pro485?
So I have a syn6 powering 4 cabin speakers and 1 pro485 on the 5/6 channel bridged.
It seems way easier to find a 4 channel amp that does 75 - 100watts at 4ohms for my interior speakers, than to find one that will do 200x2 @ 4ohms. Could i bridge channels 1/2 and 3/4 to power the pro80 cans, while leaving channel 5/6 bridged for the pro485? |

To answer your question, yes. The Syn-6 is ideal for the 80/485 3-Some. The new Wet Sounds HT-4 will deliver 110W rms x 4 @ 4 ohm or 300W rms x 2 when bridged into two chnl mode @ 4 ohm. This will serve 4 in-boats well, as well as wake those Pro-80's up if you when that route. A couple other options that would work for both options also: Syn-4, Kicker IX500/4, ARC 300.4 or XDi803. The Syn-2 is perfect power a set of Pro-80 and would really push those 4 in-boats as well.

Whoops, saw that they're already out. Aren't they coming out with another line of amps that are supposed to be super-powerful?

They have some sinister series amps coming out. I saw the specs on them somewhere. I think they were all class d and all over $1k.
