Not much difference in my interior. I had it put back to original configuration. The old was not bad, just wanted to have fresh skins. I'll post a few pics when I get time tomorrow to get a few. I have been busy all week with chores.

hey thanks for the replys. yes it is the open bow tri star.
i got a quote from jim for 1600.
i tried calling viper but it said the number was not in service or something like that.
i may end up just doing as much as i can if not all of it myself.
i think the 2 hardest things will be captains seat and engine cover.

3500 is WAY out of my price range.

I just purchased the same boat 1986 Tristar! Please let me know what you decided to do for your seats. I have a few seats that need to be recovered but most will need replacement soon. I was thinking of using a modern material / pattern, but that would require everything. I'll also be looking for tips to pull the panels, etc..

and how much did you pay for the boat?
im leaning towards doing most of it myself. the 2 items i may have done by a shop will be the captains chair and motor box cover

I paid over $6k for the boat, I know there was a similar one in CT for less but I didn't have the time to go look at it. This one is clean, low hours, 454 is heavy (no fat sack needed) so I am happy I got it, now get to work on it!

dude thats CLEAN. i like it.
and i like that 454 in there. what do you plan on doing to it besides the interior?

mine has the 351 in it with 350hrs.
i paid 2800 for mine. and like you in going to work on it this winter to get her ready for next season.
my plan for interior is either a light gray or white for a mail color with a dark blue welting. something clean n simple.
