Help with wake on 2004 X-Star

We are trying to wakesurf behind our 2004 X-Star. I know it's not the ideal boat for wakesurfing wake. We fill the built-in kgb and port ballast tanks and added a 350lb sac in the port compartment. Running at a speed of about 10.7mph. So far only one person has been able to free ride and only for a minute or so. I think we need to extend the wake and noticed comments about putting your portable ballast (passengers) in the front port seats. We had them piling up in the rear port but I think we have enough weight there as the boat tips pretty well to the port corner. Any other suggestions?

Empty KGB. Port and starboard full. 750 port locker. 400-ish under observer. 750 on top of observer as far aft as possible. 400 rear seat to make an "L" with the 750. 155 and small cooler on floor to help support the L should it shift (which it never does). 10.5mph.

i set mine up differently (07 star) - 750 in the rear port locker, KGB full, empty stock port & starboard tanks (thinking about removing these next year because i never use them...) 3-4 people on port side, about 11.2 mph

It's the 5' 4" Broadcast so the largest size they make of the board. Any recommendations for a larger board then?

I cut my hand, right across the palm doing yardwork. The gloves allowed me to wakesurf that day, which means I could really care less about what you think of them :-)

We have that Broadcast too. It's a bit small for you, in my opin.
At the risk of getting too personal, you might grab a Red Woody. You'll be glad you did.
