Our friends have gone to Trinity, they said it is very nice, but another hour off I5. We drive 6hrs straight down I5 now (330 mi door/door) to get to Antlers from Oregon. Dont need to add another hour each way........

I've heard a lot about trinity as well. I've heard the water is cooler but this might be a myth. My son has been there and he says it's a beautiful lake. Did not notice water temp. It's a bit further t travel but might be worth it.

Nice shots! Makes me want to get on a slalom ski. I haven't been on a slalom ski in 10 years.

I have been skiing Powell since 1972. It is a great place to slalom. It doesn't compare to a small private lake but it can be incredible. It is the total disrespect from inland surfers and tubers that destroy some of the most beautiful glass waters on the planet.
