Beach camped at the Rincon the first week of August. Had great water for four straight days. We love lake Powell!

We've rented every year on the lake. Friends have a cabin but not on the lake. We are thinking of goin back to Shasta next year or trying Oroville? This year got a little crazy with 6 families. You have a place?

You're friends with Victor? I used to ride with him in San Diego two years ago behind his sanger. Looks like an awesome trip!

Since you speak of Shasta, I always wonder what a week at Trininty lake would be like. I talked with someone from my area and he says Trinity is great. Fewer people than Shasta so flat water for longer.

Looks good at Martin...been a while since I've been up there. It's hard for me to put my boat on the trailer for a trip up there when I can drop it in Gantt in less than 10 minutes. We are thinking of renting a house up there next summer to change things up a bit.

Love Lake Powell!! Boat in camping. Launched from Wahweap and camped at Oak Canyon just past Rainbow Bridge. 8.23 to 8.26. The CSX is perfect on this lake for the type of trip that we had. Gear moving, wakeboarding, sightseeing, and fishing! This is the only picture I have here at work. Will post more later. This is our second year of boat in camping at LP just phenomenal!!

@RyanD121, wished I lived as close to LP as you do. It's a 10 + hour drive from So Cal!!

it's brackish only in the backs of the canyons and at the north end of the lake where the Green and Colorado feed into the lake. Keep in mind this lake is 150 miles from the northern most point to the dam at Page so there's alot of surface area to work with.
