Storage Locker Shocks

I need to replace a shock on one of my side storage compartments beside the engine on a 2008 X-2....where is the best place to get one of these? It's a bit strange....it's not that the shock will not hold the lid open...it is very difficult to get the lid open and it will not raise all the way.

Thanks!

Sounds great...thanks for the leads! Wasn't sure if these were an auto parts item or not.

Best place to get parts. I tried to get new shocks from 3 different auto parts stores for the doghouse on my 197 and they couldn't match them.

I usually get struts online based of the number on the strut.

I will second waterskis.com! They have treated me right in the past.
