2006 X1 Bimini Top
Hello,
First time post and first time MC owner. Drank the koolaid and switched from Malibu. I have an 06 X1 with the zero flex tower and was hoping someone knew of a company that sold a solid bimini top which mounts to the tower. Also if you could also leave the dimensions you used and any pictures. I had the dealer quote and this is what i received: Bimini 483743JB $759.99 Shipping $150 Tax $45.59 Labor $357 Total – $1312.58 Thanks |

Call them and ask for John. Really nice guy and I love my bimini. He will custom do anything and might even have dimensions for your boat from doing a previous one of the same style. I just ordered mine this Spring. |

Thanks!
Is it cheaper than what i was being quoted? Does it use clamps or bolts to attach to the tower? |

+1 towerbiminis.com
They should be able to send you pics with one on your model boat. i've had one on my 03 X-2 since i bought it and it's been great.

Do you have any pics of yours? I have the factory windshield mounted bimini on mine, and it's just too low. I'm trying to decide between a new dimension over the tower bimini or one from towerbiminis.com.

I doubt towerbiminis.com could match the hook up to the MC mounts, but they will make you a awesome bimini that sets up and folds up almost as easily. Just have to mount 4 collars on the tower legs that the bimni supports pin into.
Cost will be in the $800 range, so about the same as the OE MC bimini, but you can choose your colors or patterns. (Well, it was $800 over 5yrs ago when I bought one) The MC one does not seem out of line other than the 200% markup on shipping and wth is $357 for labor? Does your boat not have the sockets mounted to the tower? Even still, it's 4 brackets and 8 screws into the tower legs.
