New guy here..... 1st mastercraft I've owned 2002 x star

Hello all.
I have owned a 1992 ski nautique for the last 3 years an I just sold it. I am picking up this 02 mastercraft x star in the morning. It has 720 hours on it and it has been USED. I think I can patch it back up and make a pretty nice boat out of it. The prop is jacked up, missing cup holders, 48 miles of speaker wire , 3 ballast pumps not working, few seat flaws, gas gauge broke, rpm not working, that's right off hand. But I can buy it for 20k..... Any thoughts thanks in advance. I can load pics from home later

Congrats, that sounds like a fun project. As long as the hull, engine and transmission are good shape you'll be set. While the list is moderatly long each is a relatively simple fix. How is the vinyl?

As long as the gelcoat and motor are in good shape, the price is about right for around here.

I have been looking all over the country and I haven't found any x stars 01-03 for less than $25k I think I can fix most of the stuff for around $2000. Hull, motor, trans are solid. Where are these nice ones at in my price range
