question... i see the exhaust tips installed on this boat which weren't stock in 2004 (only year MC had these were 07 for all models, i think the PS197/214v still uses them though). The boat originally came with the silentmaster exhaust, which made working on the impeller virtually impossible. if you switched out the silentmaster for the tips.. that was a very worthwhile upgrade.

Willy, exhaust tips were on there when i I purchased the boat. Still has the silent master exhaust. It's not too bad to change the impeller, loosen up all 4 exhaust connections and you can move it enough to gain access to the impeller. Not the easiest to do, but definitely not hard to change the impeller.
