Walker Project Bomb Pop Boards

I got the hook up for Inland Surfer, Soulcraft, and now Walker Project as well for anyone that is looking for a new board (PM me). These are two of the custom ones we ordered. I also have a custom one on order for Heelgrad and his should be pretty sweet when it's done! Carbon Fiber Top Deck, Pink bottom on my wife's, Carbon Fiber top deck and bottom for my board. The pink isn't the right pink so we are ordering another one for her in "hot pink" today. I won't spoil the color combo for Heelgrad's but you can probably guess Going to ride tomorrow! The Walker Project Bomb Pops are their newest and latest/greatest board so we are excited to try them out.

I am super pumped to get my hands on the new Bomb Pop that Ryan ordered for me! Hopefully it will be here in the next week or 2 and will be worth the wait. Couple questions..... What weight ratings are we talking on these boards? I'm 6'1" and run between 195 and 210 throughout the summer.

Also noticed the rather large fins. I've been working on 360s with a Blue Lake and breaking the fins loose on this board has been challenging. Is this the right board to get if these types of moves are the kind of riding I'm moving to?

How would this board ride in comparison to my Blue Lake?

I've been riding a Bomb Pop for a couple weeks... great board, my favorite of the 5 Walker boards I own.

The Bomb Pops will support a lot of weight for the size of the boards. There are some pics and a vid of Dennis Horton the Walker Project sales manager riding a 4'5 and a 4'9 and he's 290lbs. The 4'5 typically would go up to 180-190 and the 4'9 more than that. You'd be good on the 4'9 for sure. This is definitely the right board to get if you want to do tricks, airs, spins, etc. The Blue Lake is big slow and heavy and not made to really do much on. It's a cruiser board and great to learn on. If you want to progress and do tricks a board like this would be the one. This board is a high performance board that will allow you to do any surf trick you want. Shoot me a PM with your number and I can give you a call to chat more about boards if you like.

Spent some time on the bomb pop. It's the fastest board we've been on and definitely has a lot of pop. They are surprisingly hard to pearl as well which is nice. Awesome board and VERY fun to ride. If anyone wants one let me know

Here's a video of my wife on her new custom bomb pop. It's a VERY slick board, and at the beginning of the morning she couldn't even get up and stand on it. After a few hits though she really liked it and was starting to ride it well. I rode her board and will be on mine this coming week. There was a slight mix up in the length on the board they sent me so mine had to be remade:
