help with vinyl color 89 teal

i am sprucing up my 89 prostar 190 and will be getting new decals, (got the .pdf files from here.. good friend has a vinyl/screenprinting shop) does anyone know the dark teal pantone#, or pms # of anything close?
also any ideas on how you might go with something different, im thinking of enlarging the font some, if seen those and they look good. i saw a teal metalflake vinyl also.

You will never match it. best you can do is get close. Get a swatch book from Avery, 3M, FDC, etc... If your buddy has a vinyl printer download the onyx pantone chart and see what comes close. there are also color palletes you can download for illustrator you can tweak.

The original colors are gone... like I said you will get close - nothing will match from 1989
