Teak Swim Platform

I have an X45 with fiberglass platform. Considering getting a teak for durability. Anyone know what a teak platform may run me new? Also - i saw the new X30 with the platform having rubber wrapped around the front - is this an option for all models?

Thanks.

I had a fiberglass platform and wanted a teak also. I actually traded with a guy on here..... May not be a bad route for you if someone wants fiberglass instead

isn't the fiberglass a lot more $ than the teak?

Are you happy you made the change to teak?

Yes im very happy, I think that its personal preference. I know that the teak takes alot more maintenance though... I personally think that nothing looks better than a clean looking teak platform on a ski boat. I was also surprised how much lighter the teak platform was than the fiberglass.

I, too, would like to swap out the black, fiberglass platform on my '06 X30 for teak. Anyone interested in a trade? (sorry, did I just hi-jack the thread?)

I have seen where this business has been mentioned on Teamtalk before. I have never used them, so I cant say if they would be able to help you or not. But it might be worth a telephone call.

Anyone made their own? If so - does anyone have specs they would share? Dealer told me today a teak one would be $1000!

for 2000 prostar 205 - i would expect to need a bit more wood for a solid deck, but not double the existing cost.
