Quick 2005 X Star Pricing Help? in SE
A buddy up in KY, has a neighbor wanting to unload a XStar.
520 Hours, Interior has normal cracking in all seats in the White, basically this year or next needs interior. Service records show normal oil, and tranny flush, and Impellor change along with a few misc things small not working. ie Switch for Lights etc. Original Owner. Black in Color MCX Motor Factory MC Trailer, Dual Axle 4 Factor Tower Speakers Tower Lights Perfect pass Tower Mirror Depth Finder Two 10" JL Subs Factory Clarion Radio I have searched Boattrader, and Onlyinboards... and the market has yet to flood with inventory for the season but it appears from 42-49K. Whats the MC World see the market value is?? Last edited by DBrown2; 04-08-2013 at 12:01 PM. Reason: motor |

$40K would be a great deal on that boat....I would think closer to $45-48K is right.

I just paid 48K for a 2006 X Star in very good to excellent condition. Custom metalflake gelcoat. Plumbed in extra ballast. Upgraded stereo. MCX engine with 375 hours. This is in northern California where everything is more expensive. I would say low 40s.

Well here it is at home and a few other pics. Its got heavy oxidation on the rear, to the point of some spider cracking... but isnt a true gel coat hull spider crack. I figure with a full weekend of love I will get it up to speed.
Project- Buff Hull, Redo Teak (I want to see if I can get a black tint to the stain), then power detail the inside. Eventually look at reworking the interior where the white has all cracked. Secondly I think the previous owner fudged the measuresments on will it fit in a 9ft Garage opening.. its a fight to get my old X10 in it.. I literally had 3" on each side, and the rub rails I had to loosen so they would bend in as I backed it into the whole. Anyone want to give pointers... I read alot last night on bringing back the hull and I have all the 3M Products for 3 Steps. I am just wondering on the whole Wool Buff deal. Plus anyone darkened their teak, to the point of Black? |
