Cool Need help 1995 Pro 205

My 1995 Pro 205 is "missing" at 1500 - 2000 rpm. It isn't skipping it's more of an intermittent miss. I checked the spark plugs and they are all "missing" so it isn't a bad plug or wire. Anyone have experience or an idea.

What engine do you have? Knowing that will produce some recommendations.

Fuel Filter
Screen on bottom of fuel pump (if it is an electric pump)
Coil Wire
Cap
Rotor
Pickup on bottom of tank
Muffler Bearings
Add Sea Foam to tank
Tighten up your Throttle Return Line with a new hose clamp (17/32") unless it's TBW then use a 1/32" torqued to 1.2in-lbs

The engine is an Indmar 350. When it is "missing" at low speed I can hit the throttle and it runs great between 30 - 40 mph. When I slow down the missing starts again.

I'm with Pram. Gotta be the muffler bearings.

Muffler Bearings, or could be the Fetzer valve.

"...gonna' need some pliers, and a set of 30 weight ball bearings (it's all ball bearing nowadays) And I'm gonna' need about 10 quarts of antifreeze, preferably Prestone. No, make that Quaker State..."

hey lol... Fetzer valve? lol...this out of hand... ok...rectifier tube...could be bad...

ok seriously...I would add coil to Pram's list... have your ECM read to see what codes are stored besides a misfire...

Additional information! This morning Iwas pulling my grandson wake boarding at 19 MPH. It ran great for about 1 1/2 mile, then started "missing" badly. It seems something is heating up and breaking down electrically. Any thoughts?
