OK, I'll display my ignorance. I have seen several people on the board quite exicted about the Acme 541. Enlighten me what makes that one better than the rest.

Oh yeah...and how much can I expect to put out for it.

Smooth as silk, no vibrations, more holeshot, less wake and roostertail.

I just got a connection, PM me if you want a price

jrandon probably has a great connection.

I just bought an Acme 857 from Wakeside. Acme was selling it direct for $399. They said to buy it from Wakeside. It was the best deal I could find, considering the 10% credit they give back to you to use on their site. I paid $350 and then had $35 to spend on another purchase.

I did buy the 'weekend saver kit' from Acme though. $100. Harmonic prop puller, hammer, extra pin and nice canvas case for the prop and all tools mentioned.

I've had my new 541 sitting in a box all summer as back up, after all this talk looks like I'm going to put it on the starting team!
