2007 x2 steering cable

Anyone attempted to change a steering cable that can give me some advice? I got a new one for my 2007 x2 and was wondering where to start.

It was easy on the DD. If nothing else you get contorted a few times and yank like hell but theres nothing mentally tough about it. A 2nd person makes it alot easier though if you need a tug or push on the other end. Again there could be some gremlin out there since I don't know that particular model but it took me about an hour and that included bs'n
