So are they saying Leach was forced to play him? ESPN has said nothing of this.

You know I don't live anywhere near Dallas. So how could I have heard any of that? And where's their proof?
I'll stick to what I originally said: If Leach had benched him he would still be the Head Coach. Taking matters into his own hands was wrong and the TT must have seen at that way too. They wouldn't have fired him without just cause.

Texas Tech continues to investigate a complaint from Adam James and his family, but Mike Leach backers wonder why he was suspended before the investigation was complete. "They never even told him why he was suspended," a source said. "There's nothing more to investigate. The source said Craig James has been "hounding these coaches at Texas Tech - not just Mike - all year" for more playing time for Adam James. "They suspended him because a family is upset about the kid's playing time," the source said. "That's what it is. [Leach] didn't do anything wrong with this kid. "James wanted Mike, No. 1, to promise that his son would be a starter next year, which you can't do." Craig James did not return a telephone call seeking comment. Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Found this...............Tech football coach Mike Leach was suspended for ordering a player to stand in shed at the Tech football practice facility for two hours, then repeating the punishment two days later because he felt the player was faking an injury that happened during practice on Dec. 16, the Avalanche-Journal has learned.
A source told the A-J Leach did not dispute the facts, brought to the university’s attention by the player and his parent. Leach had until Monday to write an apology and when he did not, the university felt it had to take action. “This was not taken lightly,” the source said, adding that Leach did not show any signs of remorse or did not say he wouldn’t do it again. The player suffered a concussion at practice on Dec. 16 and Leach thought the player was faking. |

That has nothing to do with what I posted? You wanted proof about being forced to play someone he didn't want to. Come on man stay on the same page.
