As for you CP..................No one gave the Gators a chance against your beloved Luckeyes in 2006 and we all remember the 41-14 lashing...............

The fact is the SEC "IS the TOUGHEST" Conference at the present time and strength of schedule is a factor in the BCS Rankings................

Just in Case you forgot...............Your quarterback was running for his life all night.......

Tricky, time to stop living in the past, besides Troy was the first guy to try to play with his heisman tucked under his arm the whole game (at least that is how he ran all night). Anytime a team hears for 3 straight weeks that they don't belong there it is going to give them the feeling of nothing to loose. The opposite is the same for the team hearing for 3 weeks they are going to walk away with the game.

But answer this question for me. Does this hurt?

OLE MISS!

Well, well ... this thread is getting interesting. I do have to say that Florida looks good but to say that the SEC is the best conference just because ESPN says it does not make it true. Sagrin and RPI both rate the Big 12 significantly higher than the SEC. Actually, I have not seen one confernce ranking that did not have the Big 12 ahead of the SEC by a significant margin. So to say the SEC is the best football conference is simply not backed by facts.

Just sayin ...

One again Bobby Bowden place more "EMPHASIS" on Winning than "DISCIPLINE"

No Wonder They've "EARNED" the name "CRIM-A-NOLES"......................

SEMINOLES NOTEBOOK: FSU's Reed, Wade face battery charges

TALLAHASSEE - About three hours after being arrested on misdemeanor battery charges, two Florida State football players were back at practice Wednesday afternoon.

Freshman wide receivers Bert Reed and Cameron Wade turned themselves in to university police around noon Wednesday after warrants were issued for their arrest in connection with an on-campus brawl two weeks ago. Both players were released within minutes after posting bond, and FSU coach Bobby Bowden said both will play Saturday against Florida.

"They're going to be available," Bowden said after Wednesday's practice. "They've been disciplined."

Two days after the fight, which occurred at the FSU student union, Bowden suspended Reed, Wade and three other wide receivers from that weekend's game against Boston College, which the Seminoles lost 27-17.

The fight allegedly involved football players and members of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity and resulted in injuries to four students. FSU police have said the most serious injury was sustained by a female bystander, who was hit in the head by a chair thrown during the melee.

According to a news release issued by the university Wednesday, FSU police still are investigating and hope to identify the person who threw the chair. That person is expected to face a felony charge, but conflicting witness statements have slowed the investigation.

No fraternity members were arrested Wednesday, FSU officials said.

Reed has had several disciplinary issues, including a one-game suspension for missing classes, and he missed another game for an undisclosed violation of team rules. He's fourth on the team with 253 receiving yards and also has three touchdowns.

Could be the involved players are majoring in "Criminal Law" and just doing class projects/practical factors!
