I went to see a ND game this year and can tell you that they are not that good. The BCS is going to be reworked and hopefully this love affair with them will be addressed. I would have rather seen UL play LSU. I would have enjoyed LSU put a hurt on the Cards.

Most teams have some fluff in the schedule. I know that SEC teams have to have a break from the tough conference schedule. I found it interesting to look at the coaches in the SEC. Saben, Spurrier, and Fulmer all have shampionships under them. When you look at the other coaches in the league, Mark R. at Georgia has two SEC titles, Nutt at Arkansas and Tupperville at Auburn have both shown good coaching ability. Les Miles at LSU is doing quite well too. Just the coaching in this league makes it tough to advance in the league. My Cats have a tough road ahead.

... and to think I wzas getting depressed that UM struggles in the big game. I would still take Weis over Carr.

Hmmm. I see 4 "pad" games for ND in 2007. Just to be fair, here's Ohio State's schedule. Like those nice warm-up games in September? And ND has to play Michigan AND USC that year.

Makes me sad that I won't see a Texas/OSU game this year. I liked having an early indicator of what to expect for the rest of the season. You win, it's going to be a great one. You lose, and it wasn't meant to be that year. Hope to see the match up again some day.
