I went to see a ND game this year and can tell you that they are not that good. The BCS is going to be reworked and hopefully this love affair with them will be addressed. I would have rather seen UL play LSU. I would have enjoyed LSU put a hurt on the Cards.

2007 Notre Dame Football Schedule
Sept. 1 GEORGIA TECH Sept. 8 at Penn State Sept. 15 at Michigan Sept. 22 MICHIGAN STATE Sept. 29 at Purdue Oct. 6 at UCLA Oct. 13 BOSTON COLLEGE Oct. 20 USC Nov. 3 NAVY Nov. 10 AIR FORCE Nov. 17 DUKE Nov. 24 at Stanford 2008 Notre Dame Football Schedule Sept. 6 SAN DIEGO STATE Sept. 13 MICHIGAN Sept. 20 at Michigan State Sept. 27 PURDUE Oct. 4 STANFORD Oct. 11 at North Carolina Oct. 18 Open Date Oct. 25 at Washington Nov. 1 PITTSBURGH Nov. 8 at Boston College Nov. 15 at Navy (Baltimore) Nov. 22 SYRACUSE Nov. 29 at USC I have highlighted the "padding" games on their schedules for the next two years. That Nov. 3 through 24 stint in 07 is a real test! I guess Pitt isn't fair, their program is getting better.

Most teams have some fluff in the schedule. I know that SEC teams have to have a break from the tough conference schedule. I found it interesting to look at the coaches in the SEC. Saben, Spurrier, and Fulmer all have shampionships under them. When you look at the other coaches in the league, Mark R. at Georgia has two SEC titles, Nutt at Arkansas and Tupperville at Auburn have both shown good coaching ability. Les Miles at LSU is doing quite well too. Just the coaching in this league makes it tough to advance in the league. My Cats have a tough road ahead.

It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball. |
