84 S&S Windshield.
Hi all. I am looking at a project boat. It's an 84 S&S, the windshield is toast. I was wondering how easy it is to get a replacement and how much? Thanks.

Is the frame bad or just the glass? I had a bad wing and a local glass shop was able to put new glass into the existing frame.

Aren't the wings curved plexiglass? Did the glass shop use plastic or glass?

Pretty sure the entire windshield is plexiglass...

Plexiglas. The wings are very slightly curved, but they got it to conform nicely.

The windshield on an original '85 was glass. I know because my neighbor was cutting the lawn and kicked up a rock and shattered it. I'm still fininding pieces of glass in the boat. I never was able to find a safety glass replacement for mine. A boat mechanic friend of mine was able to find someone to replace it with Plexiglas. I hate it, because it's not very thick and flexes. It fits perfect, but I'd rather put glass back in. Let us know if you what you end up finding and how much it cost? Good luck!
