2012 Surf Wake....a few pics from the weekend
Hello,

2012 X-30

Had a chance to play around with some ballast this weekend.

Stock KGB and STB full.

750lbs in the STB locker

400lbs on the floor

Very pleased with what we were able to achieve and enjoying the new boat!

Looks good! Maybe a touch too fast. I would put the 400# sac on the rear starboard seats instead of the floor to get the boat to lean more.

^ I agree!

I understand the surf wave rivals the X25, if not better. Post more pics of boat. Interior looks sick!

Love your interior, but in these parts that would leave 2nd degree burns in the 95+ degree heat. Wave looks great!

How would you achieve a longer pocket? Put weight in the mid boat area or in the front? I dont have any sacs yet, but will in the off season. Just stock plus people. 2012 x30

The guys at Fly High said told me to distribute the weight better on the side of the boat you are surfing. I did it, and my pocket is nearly twice as far off the platform as it was previous.

Pocket was longer than my previous x 45. Only had one passenger and it was tough to get a good pic while driving.

First impression, boat has great potential.

My 13 yr old had no problem riding rope free.

It was in the 90's up here, yes the interior is warm!

The black is not vinyl in this boat.

Old boats have had light interior and wanted something different.
