Nice looking boat!! A little quiet?? My 09 X7 is rediculously loud. I wish I could have used some of the baffles you removed.
What size are the tires/rims?? They look good.

I found my 03 X9 this February with 109 hours on it. Was looking for a v drive but it was such a nice boat I decided to go with it. I've been happy with mine and I really enjoy having a direct drive now. From the picks yours looks really clean. That cover looks like its never been put on.
You'll want to upgrade the stereo and get some more ballast. You'll have to get used to less storage than the Xstar.

Thanks guys, I won't miss the XStar wake at all, plus it was so fricken heavy and gutless compared to my direct drive, I ski more than board or surf so this boat is perfect for my needs. My fiance surfs and all my buddys have wakeboard boats so we can bum a ride with one of them for us to surf or board. The wake actually isn't too bad for boarding with both bags full and 3 or 4 people on board. I am thinking of modifying and installing a Malibu wedge on it as well if I can get ahold of one reasonably. My wheels are 20", powdercoated to match my Teflon coated wheels on the truck. The truck in back of the boat is my 73 FJ40, spring over axle lift, Chevy 350 and 700r4 trans, super clean, no rust and of course black.....all my sh*t is black, even my beater 94 Chevy dump run truck, lol. Here is a pic of the FJ
