New X-30 Surf Wave

So I know a few people have been wondering about the surf wave on the new X-30. Here is a screen shot of the surf wave with ONLY factory ballast (about 280 in the rear and 300 up front). The additional ballast is being plumbed in this week. The wake and wave should be even better. The wave has a lot of push and is really easy to stay on. Hope to have my boat back this weekend and then I can grab some better videos and pics of both.

Looks great.

The water temp isn't too bad for this time of year, is it?

The length is the best part. You can ride so far back on the wave. Coming from a 23 foot Moomba, on the X-30 you can ride probably an extra 6-8 feet further back. It's almost like cheating its so easy to stay on the wave.

scott023, the water temp last week before all the rain said 68. It was surprisingly warm.

I had the same water temp showing on my boat.

Wave looks good. Some additional weight will help out greatly. 68 degrees...yikes...way too cold for my liking. This thread will be moved soon when the mods see surf in the title...while the barefooting thread will stay in the general discussion threads indefinitely...no wakesurfing love around here.

I'm in Southeast Ontario, our lake was 77 last Sunday. Going to be boiling by end of July.

Granted its a relatively shallow lake.

I liked it better when the water was colder... Already past the refreshing stage for a sunny day.
