Engine tach gauges

Hello,
I am a newbie to Mastercraft, had Malibu's and Nautiques in the past. Very excited, just bought a 2007 X80 STS. Twin 350 indmar. Ran it today and starboard check engine indicator came on, no alarm, just indicator. At 40 mph the port engine was reading 4300rpm, and the starboard engine was reading 2900rpm. Engines temps were equal at 160. I noticed a slight hesitation in acceleration while planning at 35 mph.
Any thoughts?

could be many things,,, get the boat scanned , check for codes, read data on datastream,,, that will help u break it down fron there

I have an X80 with the same issue....possibly the MMDC boxes I was told...all my gauges work...less both tachs and speedo...I live in Hawaii with no dealer so troubleshooting is my issue...rinda diagnostic pulls no code at ECM...
