ftp information
I am getting quite a few people contacting me about how to do ftp and saying they cannot get it to work.
Just so you know, this is an ftp site and cannot be accessed through Internet Explorer/Mozilla or another browser. You will need to use an ftp software. Filezilla is a free one. Also, I'm sorry but I don't know MAC's so I can't help with that. You can use ftp through windows explorer (not internet explorer). I think if you google it you will find directions on how to do it. Is there another way besides ftp to get the files? i.e. dropbox?

You probably could use dropbox but frankly every time I use dropbox it screws up too much on my laptop so i have gotten rid of it.
Can you try FileZilla? |

Yes, thanks! I thought they didn't have it for Macs.

Actually, I have no idea if it works on Mac or not. Someone else here told me they were able to use Mac to get the posters but I don't know how.
Sorry |

Hi Eileen.
Just saw this thread for the first time tonight. I'm thrilled cuz I have one of the "priorities" posters from long before becoming an owner. Excited to see all the poster files you've gathered. Would you mind sending me a PM with the FTP information? Much appreciated! |

Poster comparisons
I was trying to explain to a few people through emails and private messages what I do when I order posters for people but I think these pictures will help to explain it.
When I reproduce the posters I make them the exact size of what they were originally. That is the file I put on the ftp. The problem with them, for those who are trying to do this inexpensively, is that the original sizes are not always standard frame sizes. If you want to frame it then you will pay a lot. You could get a standard frame for about $10 and a custom frame will cost probably minimum of $50- but could be more. So for all my posters that I have printed, I have modified them. And for a few people that have asked me to order them, I am making them the sizes they want. For example, the "Priorities" poster is 27"x12". If you try to get this size framed it will cost a lot. So I changed it 2 different ways. One way was to go to 18"x12" to fit a standard frame. I cut off both ends and moved the words to the right a little as you can see here. The other option is to put more white space on top and bottom to make it fit a larger frame. The 2nd poster I modified was the "No Wake" poster. The original size is 36"x13.5"- again a custom frame. So I added a top and bottom black border and resized to fit a standard frame. You can see the comparison in the picture I attached. Hopefully this helps to explain what I am talking about... ha ha.
