It then reset and turned off when we restarted the boat. The manual implied that it is related to an emissions sensor. The first time I took it out we actually threw a bunch of engine codes due to some faulty sensors, so the motor went into safety mode. We had to limp back to the dock and have the dealer fix it. For a minute I was afraid that was happening all over again. It also showed me an "F" on the gauge. Any idea what that means?

I can't get my rider profiles to load on the BIG and the dealer said they can't do anything until MC gets it figured out. VERY FRUSTRATING ON A NEW 100K + BOAT!! Not to mention very embarrassing when my Tige and Malibu owning friends are laughing at me for spending that kind of money on a new boat.
I have a 2012 X-25 with the 6.0L Ilmor ...

I am not getting the squeaking, either ... and my rider profiles have been ok ... but I did get the MIL light today and I also got the F that illuminated on the VDIG.

One thing I noticed as this all started was that we had 1/4 tank of gas ... and then the tank showed empty (almost immediately). I shut down and cycled power, but the MIL and the LOW FUEL warnings were still there. I raced over to the lakeside station to fill up and the boat only took 159 litres (I believe capacity is around 225 litres). After a quick call to my dealer, we deduced that I had a stuck float in my gas tank - so I took her for a hard run and, sure enough, the LOW FUEL warning disappeared and I showed a full tank of gas.

After a good surf sesh, I noticed the SHALLOW WARNING came on, reading 3.2 ft of water when we were in at least 120 ft of water. Then the MIL light came on again ... and this is where the F appeared for the first time.

What the F does this mean? Seriously, what is the illuminated F on the VDIG?

Ok, that makes sense ... but does it always light up? This is the first time I've seen it (just over 19 hours on the boat) ... and I use FORWARD all the time!

I get random shallow water warnings as well. My fuel gauge is all over the place. Was reading almost empty and she only took 120L.

Ive uploaded a Sound file where you can here the squeaking. Beginning at 0.13 and ending at 0.19 sec. Recorded infront of the transmission. Hearable between 1.000 and 1.300 rpm. If not in gear, there is no squeaking to hear. Is this the same squeaking you all mean?

Thats different from what Im getting. Mine sounds like a hamspter wheel at low RPM. A constant chirping sounds. My dealer replaced the belt but that didnt solve it.

The "F" that lights up in the VDIG, It should come on as soon as you put it into FW gear and remain on unill you put it into neutral. Personally I wish they would have made the "F" green as the orange is more suited for Caution lights (aka engine light)

I was having the same problem and it was also throwing my belt on my 2012 x-45. I finally got it fixed Saturday and I was informed that there is now a "service bulletin on the FEAD bracket" this bracket evidently aligns all the pulleys and is recalled as it is causing pulleys to go bad i.e. chirping. You can read about my ordeal http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...ferrerid=55029

I would get with your service advisor and tell them about the bracket. My guys said that have ordered 12 brackets to repair chirping pulley complaints.

I am sad to say my 7.4 X-46 is now squealing..... Oh boy. My engine serial number is one that is not supposed to have to need a replaced bracket. What a pain...
