It then reset and turned off when we restarted the boat. The manual implied that it is related to an emissions sensor. The first time I took it out we actually threw a bunch of engine codes due to some faulty sensors, so the motor went into safety mode. We had to limp back to the dock and have the dealer fix it. For a minute I was afraid that was happening all over again. It also showed me an "F" on the gauge. Any idea what that means?

I can't get my rider profiles to load on the BIG and the dealer said they can't do anything until MC gets it figured out. VERY FRUSTRATING ON A NEW 100K + BOAT!! Not to mention very embarrassing when my Tige and Malibu owning friends are laughing at me for spending that kind of money on a new boat.
The "F" stands for forward I believe. I know because the "F" changes to "R" when in reverse.

Thank you for the insight on the "F". I will watch that more closely next time. I thought it came on randomly when driving one time...we'll see. I will say that the X45 is an amazing boat for our family and friends. We'll get it all worked out...

When did you take delivery of your boat? I took delivery in the latter part of april and the dealer had already installed the upgrade or patch, if you will.
I had the belt squealing issue on my 2012 6.0L 197 back in Sept./Oct. Ilmor had a fix for it, seems that some of the pulleys were not balanced..causing this. Ilmor replaced the tensioner and pulley...never a squeak after that.

Do not ignore it. I thought that mine was only squeaking at low rpm but found that the engine noise was covering up the squeak at higher rpm. You could possibly have the pulley problem that I mentioned previously. First of all, check the tightness of alternator bolts as the unbalanced wheel will loosen these up.

I have the 6.0L too and mine squeaks. Is this just the 6's or does anyone else have the same squeaking? Is this the belt or a pulley that needs to be replaced or just an adjustment?

Iīve tested it. In no load running there is no squeaking. But if i put the gear in, there are this squeaking. It sounds like coming from the transmission.
