Which Kit should I order electronic conversion

I ordered the 4125 BREAKERLESS IGN KIT PERTRONIX (MALLORY) below. I just got a call from Skidim stating that may not work with 1985 M/C SS. or it may be an 84 351W.

Can someone confirm what I need here? TY-

Pertronix "Ignitor II" Electronic Ignition conversion kit for the Prestolite clip down cap distributor thru 1986. The cap has clips with screws at the base.
Pertronix recommends using the "Flame Thrower II" coil Item #110510 with this kit (Eliminates the need of external resistance).

It is on an aluminum tag on the outside of the distributor.

Easiest way is if you just post what your distributor cap looks like, I am betting its just like Peter's which is the prestolite clip down type which requires the 141.00 unit.

Let us know or just run the number like Peter mentioned.

That's not actually a pic of my dist. Mine uses the older style and didn't want to muddy the waters any further than they are now. Can't go wrong with putting in the dist #.

Gotcha I am betting his is the clip to down unit with the two screws to hold the clips in place like mine. Hopefully he gets it straightened out so he can order the right one.

99% of us use one of two Pertronix part numbers depending upon a clip or screw type cap, but MC did some unusual things from time to time. All you have to do is assume something, and - well, you know how this ends.

Yeah, mine defiantly has the clip with two screws holding it down. Actually I thought this would be so common that it would be an easy answer. However, nothing is truly ever easy…. 
