sorry for the late reply, dont get on here much in wintertime!

i ended up getting the engine rebuilt, and she runs great now! new intake mainifold, exhaust manifolds, ecu etc in addition to a full engine rebuild done at a shop. while the engine and tranny were out i cleaned the hull inside and out and she cleaned up nice. the boats got antifoulant paint so there was no gelcoat to worry about, and the propshaft had no corrosion. still working out some little kinks in the boat, but i had some good time on the water this year and thats what its all about!
