I have a 205V (2003) and it has plenty of room. The same boat that year could have also been an X2 (dealer told me to save money, look for 205V and that is how I got an amazing deal on a boat others overlooked. And many of those have towers are for a couple grand, you can do that and do it right.

Thanks mzimme!

BrianB... I have owened 2 different i/o's and have installed waketowers on both. I have wakeboard behind an x-45, maristar, and '90 supra... and neither of my boats were as comfortable to ski & wakeboard behind than the 2 Mastercrafts. That is why "I" (not wife) want a mastercraft. I don't know how Malibu's, tige, moomba, cenurion, or newer supra are compared to mastercraft but if they are as nice, I would check them out as well. Thanks

only downside i found during my recent hunt was that the 98's didn't seem to have an armrest by the throttle. doesn't appear to be a ND tower and no PP. that should lower the price.

Didn't know that about the armrest. My 99 has one. No perfect pass on my boat either, but that tower looks pretty good IMO. Looks kinda like a Samson tower, which was my 2nd choice. You can't beat the fact that it has crazy low hours and the Vette engine either.

Saw this today. A little more than 20K but might be able to negotiate. http://http://sacramento.craigslist....002694411.html
