2012 Upholstery

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine and I both have MC's and we want to put 2012 interiors in them as they are both sun damaged.

What I want to know is what is the actual range of the vinyl's used in the 2012 boats from Spradling/G&T as we want to do these for our 99 PS 190 and 2003 197 boats.

Can anyone help me identify the range name within the Spradling/G&T range so we can procure some please

Hi Stritt, yep that's me. A couple of mates and I have bought MC's recently as we have been doing a bit of skiing again, hope someone can help. We are all in the motor yacht business so have no trouble getting upholstery work done and accessing suppliers of the vinyl.

I bought the new vinyl last year for my 04 X-10. MasterCraft's supplier wouldn't sell directly to my vinyl guy (Jim) so I had to go thru a dealer. I think they have a contract to sell that particular vinyl to MC only for a few years. It cost a little more but it was worth it.

They don't have an exclusive agreement with MC to not sell to anyone, just other towboat companies. The offshore powerboat industry has been using that same vinyl for several years now.

Hey man, welcome to the site!
I am in the process of doing some of my 04 197 interior over with a mixture of the new fabrics.
Two of them are Morbern Rush and Shock. The rush is the solid kind of rough textured vinyl and the shock in the carbon fibre style. I am not sure what the solid pearl vimyl is though. I am going with a solid light grey that matches up with the 00-04 grey crappy vinyl that MC used for awhile.
