yes it is and the riders in tow in a tight closed course. believe it or not but the XStars will turn on a dime at speed

So here it is after pm's, emails, and phone calls.

Let me first off apologize for sounding like a broken record. it was by no means my original intent. I took something that was offered to me as a courtesy, for something special I was able to do for someone, and focused on the one negative of that experience. I should have rather been bringing out the numerous positive aspects. I know I ended up sounding like a "Star Hater", but that is not the case. I also apologize for that.

I am not going to recant anything I have I stated or give credit to the notion any of my stated experiences were false...... as that is just not the case. I have been on the board for over 8 yrs and anyone who does a quick search or has contacted me can tell you I go out of my way to help others and provide rock solid info on everything I can. I don't get into the debates or post random thoughts to often. I only respond to things I have experience with whether good or bad and leave the brand chest thumping and superiority complex issues aside. I will take the word of family and friends riding in tour stops #1 and #2 any day of the week over brand affiliates regarding performance. I also formed an educated opinion on what I was able to physically see at stop #2 with my own eyes comparing it to the past 10yrs of experience traveling to events. For every pic of monster wake there is just as many shots of it being a crumbled mess at those first two stops. Say what you will, but it can't be disputed. Tricks being stomped or not. I chose to focus on the crap shots, others choose to focus on the good shots. I should have never kept going back and forth, again my apologies. Probably not a good idea on my part on the brand site, but we also have to be able to admit the bad when we tout the good so much........ just not to the level and degree i took it to. Did I ever think the boat wasn't going to be a success........heck no ......I was more focused on a different aspect of the way things were being handled. That obviously was not an issue to most here and I assumed I would be in the majority and opened up my mouth. I do owe Capt his XX as the hull question was put to rest between the promo boat and the current boat pulling the tour.....tho there is much more to it than that regarding some of the false claims made on that end as well...no need to re hash it tho.

I was actually strapped to chair with my eyelids wide open all weekend being fried to stare at an X Star.........tho it was in MO at the 3rd stop. The Phil and Harley show was in full effect. The tricks and riding all down the line is ten fold what is was 3 yrs ago. It has advanced so fast and it is no doubt partly due to the boats. The wake was the best I have seen it without a doubt. While a year multiple firsts in wakeboarding will be going down, we also can't forget to mention one other first ........... 2012 is the first year there will be no production X Star on the market/books since its inception and its rise to the top.

So it is what it is and I will stay out of the argument from here on out
